SILVARUM / LATIN, “OF THE WOODS”
Some marks
have a story.
Silvarum Studio began with a signature. My mother Silvana’s signature. I lost her when I was fifteen.
One day, my father found her signature and photographed it. That is how I rediscovered the distinctive S she used to begin her name. I wanted to preserve it exactly as it was, without changing a single stroke.
Then there is Silvarum, from the Latin “of the woods”. A name that echoes Silvana and my deep connection with nature, where I find calm and inspiration.
That is how the identity and signature of my studio came to be: where a precious memory meets something that continues to accompany me every day.
That S is more than my logo. It is a way of carrying a part of her with me.
